22nd June to 8th July

Urchfont Manor, Devizes

The Friends of the Garden Exhibition

We are delighted to announce that our 2018 exhibition will take place at Urchfont Manor, SN10 4RF. The Manor’s garden was the setting for both our 2007 and 2009 exhibitions when the property was in the ownership of Wiltshire Council. We are delighted to be back thanks to a kind offer to host us by the new owner Chris Legg. Recently there has been an extensive redesign of parts of the garden and taken together with the established orchard and parkland the Manor now provides an exciting setting for the showcasing of contemporary sculpture.

Our 2018 exhibition will take place from 22 June until 8 July and will be open from 11am – 6pm. Please note that we will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Admission is £5 per adult; accompanied young people under 16 will have free entry.

Only assistance dogs are allowed. Visitors using wheelchairs should note that although the site is flat, access to most parts of the garden is over mown grass paths and these may be difficult for users of push only wheelchairs.

Parking for people with a disability and booked coach parties will be available on site. All other vsisitors should follow signs to a parking area a short walk from the exhibition entrance.

There will be a café in the stable yard serving delicious light lunches, morning coffee and afternoon teas.

A popup shop will be offering work for immediate sale by participating artists.

We are pleased to announce that the artists showing at Urchfont will be Lynn Baker, Peter Beard, Alison Berman, Adele Christensen, Dominic Clare, David Gunther, Akiko Hirai, Tom Hiscocks, Hayley Jones, Jonathan Loxley, Charlie Macpherson, Sara Ingleby McKenzie, Ruth Molloy, Rosie Musgrave, John O’Connor, Giles Penny, Taz Pollard, Jacquie Primrose, Jilly Sutton, Victoria Westaway, Patricia Volk, and Edward Willis.

If you would like to make a booking for an art or garden group or for further information please contact us.
